DigiReminder is a subscription booking system for beauty salons, hair salons and professional studios, that manages calendar, clients, services and automatic WhatsApp reminders. This notice explains what data is collected, how it's used and what rights you have, both as the owner of a subscribed business and as an end client whose data is managed through DigiReminder.
Data controller
DigiReminder is a product developed and operated by DigiLuxeAI. For any privacy-related request, you can write to info@digireminder.com.
Who processes which data
DigiReminder distinguishes two roles, with different data and responsibilities.
Subscribed businesses (owners and staff)
If you sign up to use DigiReminder for your business, we collect: first and last name, email, password (stored encrypted, never in plain text), business name, team role and, if you choose to sign in with Google, the identity confirmed by your Google account. This data is used to run the service: login, team management, subscription billing.
End clients of the subscribed business
Businesses using DigiReminder enter their clients' data (name, phone, email, date of birth, notes, appointment history) into the system to manage calendar and WhatsApp reminders. In this case, the subscribed business is the data controller for that data; DigiReminder acts as the technical provider of the system, with adequate security measures to protect that data.
What data we collect
- Account data: name, email, encrypted password, role, organization membership.
- Data entered into the system: clients, appointments, services, notes, history, business profile.
- Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe — DigiReminder never stores your card details.
- Technical data: IP address (used only to limit abusive login attempts), preferences saved locally on the device (light/dark theme, app installation).
How we use the data
Data is used exclusively to provide the service: authentication and account management, calendar and CRM operation, sending automatic WhatsApp messages on behalf of the subscribed business, subscription and billing management, responding to support requests. We do not sell or share data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Who we share data with
To provide the service we rely on a few third-party providers, each with its own role:
- Stripe, for secure processing of subscription payments.
- WhatsApp, for sending automatic messages via the number connected by the subscribed business.
- Infomaniak, our hosting provider (infrastructure in Switzerland) where the application and database reside.
Data retention
Data is kept for the duration of the subscription. If the account or organization is deleted, data is removed according to the technical timelines necessary, except for legal retention obligations (e.g. billing data).
Cookies and local storage
DigiReminder uses browser local storage (localStorage) only for non-sensitive preferences, such as light/dark theme or app installation (PWA), and a technical session cookie needed to keep you logged in. We do not use profiling or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, request its correction or deletion, object to its processing or request its portability, within the limits set by applicable law. If your data is managed by a business using DigiReminder (for example, you are one of its clients), the request should be addressed first to that business, the controller of your data.
Security
We adopt appropriate technical measures to protect data: always-encrypted passwords, encrypted connections, login attempt limits, and payment data access handled exclusively by Stripe.
